The Ewaso Nyiro North Development Authority (ENSDA) was established in 1989 under the Ewaso Nyiro North Development Authority Act, Cap 447 to promote sustainable development in the Ewaso Nyiro North region. ENSDA focuses on the management and utilization of natural resources, agricultural development, and infrastructure projects. It plays a key role in improving water supply, promoting irrigation, and boosting agricultural productivity in the region. The authority is also committed to environmental conservation, economic growth, and enhancing the livelihoods of communities through regional development initiatives.
