The Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) is Kenya’s statutory HR regulatory body, established under the Human Resource Management Professionals Act No. 52 of 2012. IHRM’s mandate includes regulating, certifying, and promoting best practices among HR professionals. It also oversees training, standards development, and continuous professional growth for HR practitioners across public and private sectors. Serving as a key advisor on HR policy, IHRM aims to foster ethical practices and strategic management in Kenya’s workforce development, supported by a membership base spanning diverse industries.

Functions
