The Directorate of E-Citizen Services in Kenya was established with the launch of the E-Citizen portal on June 30, 2023. The platform allows users to apply for services such as passports, driving licenses, and business registrations, among others. The initiative aims to digitize government processes, reduce corruption, and empower citizens through technology.
