Moi University, established in 1984 under the Moi University Act, is a leading public university in Kenya. Located in Eldoret, the university initially focused on science and technology but has since expanded its academic offerings to include humanities, social sciences, business, and health disciplines. Chancellor: Prof. Dankit Nassiuma

Prof. Dankit Nassiuma, the Chancellor of Moi University, holds a Bachelor of Science in
Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi, and both a Master of Science and a PhD in Statistics from the University of Manitoba, Canada. With extensive experience in academia, he has held various leadership roles and is committed to advancing the university’s mission.
