Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST), located in Bondo, Kenya, began operations in 2009 as Bondo University College, a constituent college of Maseno University. It attained full university status in 2014 through the conferment of its charter. JOOUST offers diverse undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields such as science, technology, education, and social sciences. The university is dedicated to providing quality education, conducting impactful research, and engaging in community development. It strives to foster innovation and contribute to national and regional economic growth and sustainability.
Vice Chancellor : Prof. Emily Akuno
Professor Emily Akuno is the Vice Chancellor of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University
of Science and Technology (JOOUST). She holds a PhD in Educational Management
from Moi University. With extensive experience in academia and leadership, she has held various positions in higher education, contributing to research, development, and institutional growth.
