Alupe University, located in Busia County, Kenya, began operations in 2007 as Alupe University College, a constituent college of Maseno University. In 2020, it gained full university status and was chartered. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields such as education, business, science, and social sciences. Alupe University is committed to academic excellence, research innovation, and community engagement. It aims to provide quality education, promote sustainable development, and contribute to the socio-economic growth of Kenya through relevant academic programs and research initiatives.

Vice Chancellor : Prof. Peter L. Barasa

Professor Peter L. Barasa, Vice Chancellor of Alupe University, is an accomplished
academic and leader with expertise in education and research. He holds a Ph.D. in
Education and has extensive experience in university administration and academic
programs. Prof. Barasa is committed to advancing quality education, research, and
community engagement at Alupe University.
