Unity Day Nursery

Unity Day Nursery is a public early childhood development center located in the Umoja Innercore area of Nairobi, primarily serving young learners aged three to six through the national Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). As a county-owned institution, it offers pre-primary education (PP1 and PP2) and is situated near other major local facilities such as Unity Primary School and various community churches. While the school has historically provided a vital educational foundation for the Umoja II Ward, including creative play areas and basic learning facilities, it has frequently faced infrastructure challenges such as the need for comprehensive roof and floor renovations to address leaking and damaged surfaces. Despite these environmental hurdles, the nursery remains part of the Nairobi City County’s public educational network, aimed at delivering accessible early learning to the high-density residential community of Innercore.
