Naorr Enkare Primary School is a public, mixed-gender day and boarding institution situated in the Entonet/Lenkism ward within the Loitokitok district of Kajiado South, Kenya. Located in the Amboseli National Park ecosystem, the school serves over 150 children from local pastoralist communities who face significant challenges due to human-wildlife conflict. To protect students from dangerous encounters with elephants and other wild animals, WWF-Kenya, in collaboration with the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), installed a solar-powered deterrent fence around the school grounds. The school provides a comprehensive educational pathway including ECDE (Early Childhood Development Education), primary grades, and Junior Secondary School (JSS), while also serving as a hub for community conservation efforts like tree planting.
