M.M. Chandaria Primary

M.M. Chandaria Primary School is a public, mixed boarding school located in the Kariobangi area of Nairobi, Kenya, that serves a large student population under the management of the central government/DEB. The institution has faced challenges regarding the teaching-learning process, yet it has also celebrated significant academic achievements, such as producing the top student in the entire Kasarani District in a past national exam, with the pupil becoming the first from the school to join a national secondary school. The school has been a beneficiary of various community support and infrastructure projects, including new classrooms commissioned by local government initiatives and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs from companies like Agrichem Africa and the Chandaria Foundation. The school is named in association with the philanthropic efforts of the prominent Kenyan business figure and industrialist Dr. Maganlal Motichand Chandaria, a notable philanthropist through the Chandaria Foundation, which focuses heavily on education and community development across Africa.
