Lower Kabete Primary

Lower Kabete Primary School is a public, mixed-gender day school located in the Kitisuru Ward of Westlands, Nairobi, approximately 10 kilometers from the city center. Established in the late 1960s, the school serves a student population of approximately 700 to 800 pupils and is situated near the Kenya School of Government (KSG) along the 118 campus route. The institution has undergone significant modernization since 2013, benefiting from the Westlands National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF), which financed the renovation of all school facilities, the construction of a fully equipped computer laboratory, and the donation of hundreds of desks to improve the learning environment. In response to local safety concerns, the school manages security via adjusted operating hours, with lessons typically beginning at 8:30 AM to ensure students navigate the nearby Mwimuto walkway safely.
