Leinkati Primary School

Located in Oltiasika Village within the Kajiado South constituency, Leinkati Primary School is a public institution that provides essential educational services to the local community. Despite its vital role, the school has historically operated under severely constrained conditions; for years, students have had to attend classes under trees or within temporary corrugated iron (“mabati”) structures that often housed multiple grade levels in a single room. These challenges were compounded by a lack of basic utilities such as electricity and water, alongside poor road accessibility during the rainy season. However, recent development efforts have begun to address these gaps, including grants for new classroom construction and infrastructure projects designed to build a formal administration block, aiming to transition the school from its humble beginnings into a fully-equipped learning facility.
