Kiangunu Primary School

Kiangunu Primary School is a public, mixed-gender day school located in Gituamba, Gatundu North Constituency, within Kenya’s Kiambu County. Managed by the Central Government through the District Education Board (DEB), the school serves the local community by providing basic education under the national curriculum. In recent years, the school has seen significant infrastructural upgrades, including the construction of a modern Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) center by the Kiambu County Government, which features specialized classrooms for PP1 and PP2, administrative offices, and dedicated play areas. Additionally, the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) funded a 160-meter-long retaining wall to address challenges posed by the area’s hilly terrain, effectively preventing soil erosion and classroom flooding during heavy rains. These developments are part of broader efforts to create a safe and conducive learning environment for students in the region.
