Juja Road Primary School is a public, mixed-gender day school located on Hombe Road in the Kariokor area of the Starehe Constituency, Nairobi. Established as an ordinary government-run institution, it serves a large student population of approximately 1,397 pupils (693 boys and 704 girls) with a staff of 26 teachers, reflecting a high pupil-to-classroom ratio of roughly 58:1 across its 24 classrooms. The school provides education from the Early Childhood Development (ECD) level through to the upper primary section, following the Kenyan national curriculum. In recent years, it has seen significant infrastructural upgrades through the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF), including the removal of hazardous asbestos roofing, re-painting of facilities, and the planned addition of a new four-classroom block as of late 2024 to alleviate overcrowding.
