Chesoen Primary School is a public, mixed day school located in the Pirrar division of Trans Mara, within the Ololmasani constituency. As a government-aided institution, it serves a diverse student body and has a history of achieving competitive academic results, such as a school mean score of 362 in previous KCPE cycles. While the school has been recognized for its academic performance, recent reports have highlighted significant infrastructure challenges, including deteriorating classrooms and hazardous electrical wiring that require urgent renovation. Despite these environmental hurdles, the school remains a key educational hub for the local community in the Kilgoris area
