Founded by Ann and Bill Alton in collaboration with local leader Rimas Tankile Morris, the school serves as a vital Learning Centre for young children who previously faced a 14-kilometre round trip to the nearest facility. Built on land donated by the community, the school also functions as a hub for the Osotua Women Group, providing a space for adult literacy and community meetings aimed at long-term empowerment.
