The New Kenya Cooperative Creameries (New KCC) was established in 2005 under the New Kenya Cooperative
Creameries Act. Its mandate is to enhance the dairy sector by processing milk and supporting dairy farmers. New KCC
focuses on quality assurance, marketing, and financial services to farmers. It also invests in research and development,
promotes sustainability, and develops new products to meet market demands. By providing technical assistance and
training to farmers, New KCC aims to improve productivity and empower local communities, significantly contributing to
Kenya’s economy.

CEO: Samuel Ichura

Mr. Samuel Ichura is the CEO of New Kenya Co-operative Creameries (KCC).He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the
University of Massachusetts, USA. Ichura has extensive experience in the dairy sector and previously held leadership roles at various dairy companies, contributing to significant advancements in operational efficiency and product quality at KCC.
