Kisii University, established in 2007 as a constituent college of Moi University, gained full university status in 2013. Located in Kisii County, Kenya, the university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various fields, including education, business, social sciences, health sciences, and technology. Kisii University is committed to academic excellence, research, and community engagement, with a focus on addressing regional and national development needs. Vice Chancellor : Prof. Dr. Nathan O. Ogechi

Prof. Dr. Nathan O. Ogechi, Vice Chancellor of Kisii holds a Ph.D. in African Linguistics
and African Studies from the University of Hamburg, Germany. He earned his B.Ed.
(Arts) and M.Phil. in Kiswahili Studies from Moi University. Prof. Ogechi has held
various academic and administrative roles at Moi University and is a specialist in African
linguistics, focusing on contact linguistics and linguistic human rights.
