Garissa University, established in 2011 as a campus of Moi University, became an independent institution in 2015 after receiving a charter. Located in Garissa, Kenya, it offers a wide range of academic programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a focus on providing accessible education to the northeastern region of Kenya. Vice Chancellor : Prof Ahmed Osman
Prof. Ahmed Osman Warfa, Vice Chancellor of Garissa University, holds a Ph.D. in
Curriculum and Instruction from Ohio University. With over 30 years of experience in education, he has contributed significantly to curriculum development and instructional
supervision. Under his leadership, Garissa University has advanced in academic programs and infrastructure.
