Murang’a University of Technology (MUT) is a public institution established under the Murang’a University of Technology Act, No. 4 of 2013. Prof. Justin Irina, Chancellor of Murang’a University of Technology, is a distinguished
Inorganic Chemistry scholar. He held key roles, including Vice-Chancellor of Moi
University, Chairman of Pwani University Council, and Principal of Chepkoilel College.
Educated on Fulbright and Commonwealth Scholarships, he has extensive academic,
industrial, and leadership experience, earning national recognition.
