Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), established in 1994, is a premier institution in Kenya specializing in agriculture, technology, and related fields. It originated as a constituent college of Kenyatta University and was granted university status through the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology Act. JKUAT offers a broad range of academic programs across various disciplines, including engineering, health sciences, social sciences, and business. Chancellor: Prof. Joseph Mathu Ndung’u

Prof. Joseph Mathu Ndung’u, Chancellor of JKUAT, holds a Bachelor’s in Veterinary
Medicine and a PhD in Immunopathology from the University of Glasgow. He is a
global researcher, Executive Director of FIND Dx Kenya, and has held leadership roles
in KETRI and KARI. He has over 100 publications and received prestigious awards, including the African Union Excellence Award.
