The President’s Award Kenya, founded in 1966, is a youth development organization that empowers young people through structured challenges in areas like physical fitness, community service, life skills, and personal development. Originally known as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, it promotes self-discipline, leadership, and citizenship. The program operates on a voluntary basis and encourages participants to set personal goals, achieve milestones, and contribute positively to their communities. It is part of the global network of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, which fosters youth empowerment and personal growth.

CEO: Ms. Margaret Kiogora

Ms. Margaret Kiogora is the CEO of The President’s Award Kenya. She has a strong
background in leadership and education, focusing on empowering youth. Her extensive experience includes collaborating with national stakeholders like President William Samoei Ruto to drive community service and leadership development initiatives across Kenya.

Functions
