Overview

East African Portland Cement Company (EAPCC) was established in 1933 under the Companies Act to meet regional construction needs. Its mandate is to manufacture high-quality cement, primarily the Blue Triangle brand, to support infrastructure development. EAPCC plays a vital role in Kenya’s industrial growth, contributing to major projects like roads and buildings. Its Athi River plant began operations in 1958 and has since expanded production capacity. EAPCC remains a key player in the cement industry, recognized for its innovation and environmental sustainability efforts​.

Mr. Mohamed Osman Adan is the Acting Managing Director of East African Portland Cement Company. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with significant experience in finance and management within the public and private sectors. His expertise spans across financial leadership and strategic planning. He holds qualifications in finance, accounting, and corporate governance, contributing to the company’s continued growth and development.
