Eiti Makurian Primary School

Eiti Makurian Primary School is a mixed-gender public day school located in the remote village of Oltepesi in southern Kenya, approximately four hours from Nairobi. Serving a traditional Maasai community of about 132 students across eight classrooms, the school is deeply integrated into a culture where education is increasingly viewed as a vital path toward sustainability and future success. The institution is supported by international non-profits like the Swiss-based Tandem-teach and Tawang’a Education, which have spearheaded critical infrastructure projects, including the January 2026 inauguration of two new classrooms and specialized water harvesting tanks.
