Moi Force’s Academy

Moi Forces Academy Primary School, located in Eastleigh North, Nairobi, is a prominent public, mixed-gender day school operating under the management of the Central Government/DEB and the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF). Established in 1980 following a successful fundraising drive initiated by the late President Daniel arap Moi, the school was founded as a center of excellence to provide quality education to the children of both KDF personnel and the surrounding civilian population. The primary division, which enrolls a large student body of over 1,500 pupils, is an integral part of the larger Moi Forces Academy institution and is headed by a Headteacher who reports to the overall Principal. Known for its strong emphasis on discipline, teamwork, and academic performance (with the secondary division having the motto “Excellence Our Commitment”), the school follows the Kenyan national curriculum and actively integrates performing arts and career development activities into its holistic educational program. The institution benefits from a robust support system involving the Ministry of Defence, the Kenya Air Force, a supportive Parents Association, and an active alumni network, all working to improve infrastructure and provide a conducive learning environment.
